Licensing Western Trademarks into Hong Kong and China

CLL partner Kieran Doyle spoke in Hong Kong at the International Licensing Show held by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.  The program, titled  “The Future of Sports Licensing,” took place at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre on January 12, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.  In addition to speaking, Kieran also moderated the program which  included Denis Nolan, Vice President of International Licensing for Major League Baseball Properties and Jim Grundtisch, Senior Vice President of Sales, New Era Cap Company.  The event was directed to Asian businesses interested in obtaining licenses to use Western trademarks in China and Hong Kong with a focus on opportunities relating to sports brands.
