Overview

Midge focused on trademark, trade dress, copyright, false advertising and unfair competition law, as well as licensing, technology and transactional matters for domestic and non-U.S. clients, notably including Major League Baseball and Sanofi.  She served on our firm’s Executive Committee for seven years and she chaired the Practising Law Institute (PLI) “Advanced Trademark Law” program for many years.  She was also recognized by Super Lawyers as a Top-Rated Intellectual Property attorney in New York and served on the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) The Trademark Reporter Editorial Board, Publications Committee, and Membership Committee. Prior to joining Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman, Midge was a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Mary Johnson Lowe in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and worked at Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Morgan & Finnegan, and Rogers & Wells.  As a law student, she won first place in the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers’ (ASCAP) Nathan Burkan Competition.
