Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman is Hosting a Musical Association of Corporate Counsel Copyright Program

Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman (CLL) is hosting a musical Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) continuing legal education (CLE) program titled “Copyright Cabaret” - a unique event where showtunes meet copyright law!

Join us at Connolly's Pub & Restaurant in Times Square on June 18, 2026, from 6:00 - 8:30 PM ET, as we explore copyright basics through live performances by the CLL Broadway Singers. Enjoy an open bar, appetizers, Broadway trivia, and prizes while earning 1 NY CLE credit.

The talented speakers and performers include CLL attorneys Jaime Berman, Avanthi Cole, Sarah Sue Landau, and Paige Geier, as well as Nancy Hampton, Scott Ceresia, Trademark Counsel at Google, and Bridget Crawford, Immigration Equality’s Director of Law and Policy.

The CLE program will cover copyright basics such as originality, authorship, transfers, infringement, and damages while you are entertained by the melodies from such classic musicals as Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, Waitress, Grease, and others.

This event is for ACC-NYC members only and is FREE. One (1) CLE Credit (NY) will be provided.
