We are proud to sponsor The Scales of Justice fundraising event of Equal Justice Works, which will take place virtually on October 12, 2021. In addition to celebrating the public interest community, the event will raise funds to support Equal Justice Works’ programs, which assist both current and future public service leaders in their efforts to advocate for marginalized communities throughout the country. Each year, the event honors an attorney who has shown persistent dedication to public service and the pursuit of equal justice. This year, Equal Justice Works will be honoring Brian Ellis, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Danaher Corporation. We congratulate Mr. Ellis for this honor and all his accomplishments.
Equal Justice Works is the nation’s largest facilitator of opportunities in public interest law. They bring together an extensive network of law students, lawyers, legal services organizations, and supporters to promote a lifelong commitment to public service and equal justice. More than 85% of their fellows remain in public service positions, continuing to pursue equal justice for underserved communities across the country.
