Maria Scungio Moderated U.S. Trademark Law Panel at 2026 Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference at Fordham Law School

Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman attorney Maria Scungio moderated a panel discussion on U.S. Trademark Law Developments at the Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference at Fordham Law School (the "Fordham IP Conference").  Maria’s panel featured a distinguished group of speakers, who shared insights on recent developments and trends in U.S. trademark law.

This was the 33rd Annual Fordham IP Conference, also known as the “Davos of IP.”  The Fordham IP Conference has offered an important forum for leaders in government, the judiciary, academia, and the private sector around the world to meet, discuss and resolve current intellectual property issues.

Maria advises a wide range of clients, large and small, including Fortune 500 companies, in all aspects of their domestic and international trademark portfolio concerns. As a litigator, Maria has represented clients in federal courts nationwide, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and in other courts and administrative tribunals. She also is an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law, where she teaches Trademark Law and Unfair Competition
