From Washington to San Francisco: CLL Attorneys Attend AIPLA Meetings
Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman (CLL) Chair Kieran Doyle attended the 2026 AIPLA Spring Meeting in San Francisco, California from May 13 to 15. The theme of the meeting was “The Future of IP in an AI-Driven World: Opportunities and Safeguards.” This follows the AIPLA Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. last fall, which was attended by CLL attorneys, Jeffrey Chery, Maria Scungio, and Anastasia Zhadina. While in Washington, Anastasia also attended the AIPLA IP Practice in Japan Committee pre-meeting and a Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA) reception at the Japanese Embassy.
CLL attorneys have been actively involved with AIPLA for decades, frequently serving in leadership roles. Firm members have chaired and co-chaired several prominent AIPLA committees, including the Trademark Law, Anti-Counterfeiting and Anti-Piracy, Copyright, Professional Planning, and IP Practice in Israel committees.
