Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman is Hosting a Musical Association of Corporate Counsel Copyright Program
Cowan, Liebowitz & Latman (CLL) is hosting a musical Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) continuing legal education (CLE) program titled “Copyright Tonight” - a unique event where showtunes meet copyright law!
Join us at Connolly's Pub & Restaurant in Times Square on June 25, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM ET, as we explore copyright basics through live performances by the CLL Broadway Singers. Enjoy an open bar, appetizers, Broadway trivia, and prizes while earning 1 NY CLE credit.
The talented speakers and performers include CLL attorneys Jaime Berman, Dasha Chestukhin, Sarah Sue Landau, John Miranda, and Eric Shimanoff, as well as Scott Ceresia, Trademark Counsel at Google, and Bridget Crawford, Immigration Equality’s Director of Law and Policy.
The CLE program will cover copyright basics such as originality, authorship, transfers, infringement, and damages while you are entertained by the melodies from such classic musicals as Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, Waitress, Grease, and others.
This event is FREE for ACC-NYC members and $50 for non-members. Non-members must be in-house counsel. One (1) CLE Credit (NY) will be provided.
